Has it listed as a Porsche 911 and wants over $4000
No wonder why he didn't sell it

From the description:

"This is a Nova Sterling Kit car on a 1975 911 Porsche subframe/pan. It has a 2.7 liter fuel injected turbocharged engine. Engine and trans are original to pan. It runs and is complete. It has a new brake master cylinder. It has wheel adapters the allow the corvette rims to fit. It has a all wheel air ride suspension. This car is not street legal, but can be. This car when complete could be worth $20,000"

Listing it as a 911 didn't do it any favors, but if it is using 911 mechanicals it could be quite the fun project for someone.

There's just too many red flags on this to consider the asking price.
No glass
No title
Missing a bunch of parts.
Body needs a ton of work
No telling how they attached the body to the frame. I think the 911 is a monocoque design
Probably the car needs all new wiring

Just too much work needs to be done to pay the asking price. (In my opinion)

That's been floating around for a while. It actually looked worse last year. Yes, 911's are a monocoque; he used the 2.7 engine, which basically adds another 200 pounds to the overall rear weight, nevermind all the body filler.

I think I need my brain checked...I looked at that and thought "eh, not so bad...I've seen - and bought - worse!" :ROFLMAO::rolleyes:

I would be curious on how he mounted the body to the chassis. Plus the 911 has McPherson struts for front suspension. So how did he got around that. In the oem layout it wont fit

Looking at the front suspension layout my first thoughts are I wonder if that rack and pinion will work in our cars. It looks like it would be perfect.

I wonder what the thinking was to use a 911 chassis.
