Withdrawal symptoms

Went out to my car today as I had done for the last 14 years to work on it.
I looked at it and contemplated what needed to be done. As I thought and thought and I then realized there was nothing left to do on the car. I was done. Everything works as it should. No more issues with anything.

Its over, nothing left to do. My work on the car had stopped cold turkey.

Now I have to find something else to keep busy with. No I'm not going to get another Sterling so don't even suggest it.

WHAT!!??
Are you insinuating that I built it with inferior parts and labor. 🤣🤣🤣

Still waiting to get plates so I can legally drive it on the road. Appointment is 2 weeks away. We'll see if they come up with another excuse not to issue plates. So far, it passed everything that they wanted done.

more like "that part you installed a decade ago has gone bad while sitting in the garage..." or "that part was defective when you installed it, but you didn't know it until you started driving the car..."

at least that's how MY experience has been! lol

How very true.

About a month ago I was putting on those wheel spacers and noticed that the front ball joint that I installed new in the early days of the build, the rubber covers had split open on one side.
