Wiper parts

Please no comments unless you have something useful to add

Id like to make this as simple as possible for looking up parts for the wiper assembly

I have ordered these parts and they worked for me.

I have not been able to find a replacement for just the bracket. They do have the motor and bracket together but I haven't purchased one so I'm not listing it.
They also have motors but again I haven't bought one so I'm not listing them.

I'm guessing on this but if your looking for the motor and bracket, this looks like it should work.

It looks like you will have to replace the pivot shaft with the one listed in the previous post and you might have to replace the wiper lever with one that has a shorter reach.

Also it looks like the motor uses 5 wires for the hi/low and park feature.

Found this diagram of the wiper parts. This is not specific to our cars but just a general break down of the parts
Sorry for the wrong orientation

Used that part # for the bracket and found one. Don't know if it is a direct replacement for our wipers, but if your in need of one it's a starting point. Doing a further search may bring up other options

Using Brett's link to part sizes/lengths above and the link to the Midwest Bus Parts site below, it works out to about $160 plus shipping for the motor/bracket/linkage/panto-adapter. Wiper arm not included. I chose "dry wiper arm" options due to the complexity of adding a fluid reservoir or tubing to our actuated canopy.

Is the motor below a direct replacement? I was going to call Dave and see if hey would sell the motor separately as I have the rest of the system but this price is hard to beat.

Ok to follow up. Brett went out of his way to drop Gerald @ BusParts.com an email regarding a replacement for the highly desired Bosch motor. After a number of emails back and forth, a few phone calls and some measuring here is what he has to say:

We can furnish LK4874 Drive Arm to fit either of two wiper motors. One uses Metric nuts & bolts plus it is slightly more powerful....than...the Non-Metric wiper motor that is slightly less powerful.

Either motor is $111.71 and the 1-1/16" drive arm (it fits either motor) is $12.34.

Shipping is around $12.00.

I have not yet ordered but should be next month. Hopefully this helps others out.

Using the info that nbb350 posted, if you go to the web site that he posted ( midwest bus parts) using the part numbers that he has listed. Copy and paste those part numbers in their search and the part will come up.
These companies are still in business and you still can get all the parts to the wiper system. I guess they updated their web sites and the links posted no longer work

And the web site that frodox737 has posted has all the parts also to build or rebuild the wiper system.
