Are you looking for tubing like you have now or steel braided or maybe rubber lines??

The lines you have now look to have flared ends on them. Do you want to keep that setup??

What size are the lines you have now (id)??

Those are typical high pressure plastic lines. Any local hydraulic shop should have them. If you have a rental place near you that rents landscaping equipment, they might have it as well. Check your Yellow Pages for a Parker Hydraulics or Gates Industries supplier near you.

Every builder runs their cars a little differently. There is no specific diagram for routing the hydro lines. From that photo, they should be very easy to identify looking through the wheel well. My guess is that they are going over the front suspension/tie rods and into the pods right where they mate with the main body shell. There's a little lip (usually) at the rear of the wheel well where the two body panels meet. I'm pretty confident that's where the lines are going in. You'll need to support the canopy and remove the rams to get to the lines inside probably though. You might get lucky and be able to get a wrench on the connectors at the rams without removing the rams themselves, but as soon as you crack the seal you're going to lose fluid and the top will drop - make sure it's well supported on both sides.

These systems use plastic lines?? and I assume they have compresson fittings then??
How much pressure are these pumps putting out

You guys don't have any problems with this configuration.

He's running the old style convertible top pump system, Brett. On my last car I had used a MerCruiser trim/tilt motor that was something like 1200 psi, and used the same high-pressure plastic lines with compression fittings. Worked like a charm for years when I sold the car.

Found this place today while pondering my lift system. I was planning a hidden lift with my mercriuser pump and cylinders but after seeing how nice Ricks were I decided to go withis setup. Here you can buy everything new and reduce worries.

Just for reference I got my plastic hose from a local Parker and the compression fittings from Lowes. No problems and it's been 3+ years of the canopy up and down working on it.

So what are you going to do with the Merc pump? My driver's side cylinder is starting to leak, so I'm going to be upgrading the system a little bit with some new cylinders and probably a new set of lines. If you want to part out the pump I'll swap you for mine or pay you outright for it.

I used the white high pressure plastic tubing for mine. It seemed to work ok for me. It was the fittings that leaked on mine, not the tubing.
I got mine at a hardware store.

:) Yeah, it's probably the fittings on mine as well, I just haven't looked into it closer as the cylinders are buried under the carpet and side panels. Just pulling the crap away from the pocket I can see moisture at the bottom (as well as a few drops underneath the car), so I'll probably order a set of those pre-made lines that Mud posted earlier, as well as replace the cylinders just because!
