Strange button

This guy has this strange lonley button, in the side pocket not the buttons in front but that one in the back?? Any ideas? Still rewiring so we haven't been able to hook it up and see what it does, but i was suggested it was an ejection seat which is not feasible...lol

Ha! A typical kit car mystery. Short answer: Who knows?! You’ll probably have to try to trace the wires. Is it a latching switch or a momentary switch? If it’s momentary it almost has to be something that’s a novelty like a second horn. But it just might be an ejection seat as you’ve speculated. Love it.

I mean TBH, I'm not sure what the plunger button or the window switches are either, the door has a button on the dash, bright switch is on the floor and the windows don't roll up or down. The confusion persists...lol.

Might be easier to rewire the car to your liking than try and figure out what the previous owner was thinking of with those switches.

My guess is that the previous owner(s) never made a wiring diagram for what they did.

No they didn't, and he died about 15 years ago so it's impossible to ask, but my husband is rewiring, upgrading the fuse box, and making it easier to pull out the dash with some quick connections that we can disconnect the dash and remove it i stead of sitting up.on boxes held up with a tie strap between the door supports...lol
