Where does one get the wiper arm assesmbly?

Ive seen a lot of sterling's with tall stemmed motor, and wiper But Ive also seen some nearly flush units with a different arm.

Any ideas on the donor for this?

Couple of different sources. The current versions are nothing more than RV wiper assemblies. Early versions were used on Greyhound busses, I think!

I was working on the wiring more this weekend, trying to figure out what does what. I grabbed the wiper assy. I have 4 wires on mine. A ground, obviously, and 3 wires, Red, Green and Black.
Red is fast
Green is slow
Black is park. Which from messing around I found needs constant 12v so it parks. So I'm rather stoked to have a park function.

I saw in one youtube video a person had a nice panel that covered up the motor under the nose of the canopy. was/is this a Factory thing, or a custom thing? I wonder I would be able to get one, it dresses up that area nicely!

It may have been factory at one point. I've only ever seen one (cover) in photos. Wouldn't be too difficult to fab something up, though.

My red car has a cover for that motor...of sorts. It appears to be nothing more than a plastic "project box" like you'd get from Radio Shack. It doesn't cover the whole motor. It just shields it as you look at it from the rear (ie, from the interior of the car.)

But it actually makes that motor look a whole lot more finished that if it weren't there.

I like simple solutions.

In the Navy we have an acronym (one of many). But this one is one of my favorites.
