Nice engine.
I wish I had a fresh new Bug engine for my silver Cimbria (which currently runs on 3 1/2 cylinders.) I’m a little jealous.
I also like the idea of the cutaway for the engine. Never has it been said that “I wish I had LESS access to my engine.”
Probably obvious but I’ll say it anyway, just make sure you re-establish structural integrity back there. I know you would. And it shouldn’t be hard. But the entire rear quarter of a Sterling is just a cantilevered shell of fiberglass that gets its integrity from its deep three dimensions. Do you think you’ll glass it back in or make flanges (make it detachable) for future work?
