As I said on the Euro forum, looks like I'm about a once-a-year poster now. I took the winter off of working on the car at all, but about 2 months ago decided to try to do something about the seats. I used the seat mold I pulled as the buck this time. There was a lot of clean up to do, lots of filler primer, pin hole and scratch filling and repeating. Then wet sanding. I fnally got it to an acceptable condition, waxed it up and PVA sprayed. Afterwards came the scary part, spraying gelcoat for the first time. It was no where near as bad as I thought it would be. I expected a mess, but really there wasn't much. So, 2 coats of gel sprayed, which was about 1 liter of gelcoat. I really could have used 1.5 liters, there's some light showing through some of the gelcoat currently. So, then 1 layer of surface veil and 3 layers of 1.5 oz chop mat.

I popped the seat off about 2 weeks ago and I couldn't be happier. The film is the PVA that was washed off after this was taken

After putting it in to the car I realized I either need more layers or some bracing, so I'm trying bracing first. These are 1" half-round of EVA foam that are hot glued to the back of the seat.

I hope to get some glass over them this weekend AND start the passenger seat as well.

I did some some other fiddling and design while I was at it. Just a couple of dash panels for switches.

Good to hear from you and see an update! Did you print the bezels around your switches? I like them. You always do a nice job on those things.

Yeah, those are 3d printed. Looking at them lately, they seem 'bulky' and might try to redesign them in a thinner format.
