Here's something to think about

After winding down from a long day of designing a new pedal style I started to wonder how the sterling would look with a back window like the corvettes have or the fast back mustangs. Finding am existing rear window that would match the lines of the sterling would be tough if not impossible but it was just a what if thought.

Somewhere I have seen a car with a panel that looked like the split rear window on a '66 Corvette (fab looking car, if only they did 40mpg and were cheap to insure and run) which was an a droop snoop, can't remember what it was.

There's a guy over in PommyLand who modified his Nova with a hatch like you mentioned. Mind you, it got further modified and lost the hatch.

Can't remember what hatch he used though.

Think you're thinking of the Cimbria.

Done that. CCC offered a hatch late in the '70's. Not many were made. I think Greg has a mold for these..

An idea, the 280 Z-cars have a nice rear hatch glass that could be fitted, but maybe a bit hard to find now-a-days. Sure glad my Cimbria came with that rear hatch piece, big $$!! Rick

I have the same hatch too. I think it makes rear look so much better. Dave at Sterling Sports Cars sells the same hatch.

Z cars have a huge following so finding one wouldn't be hard.
280Z rear hatch glass would set you back 700 without shipping.
That's for a new one, I don't have a price for a used one.

WOW! Price-wise, I'd better get the one in the pick-n-pull next door! Don't have a need for it, but I'll save it anyways. Cost not an issue as I work for them watching their place on weekends, holidays, etc.
The wife hates to see me go there, as she knows I'll be draggin some piece of "junk" home. I am blessed?!? Rick
