I figured since I was doing some posting I'd show a few more of this car as well. These are a few months old now.

The car and paint is looking nice, and another Nova / Sterling with the Norecar Moon Ace GT light pods. Did you buy the lights from them too or source them separately?

I think i have those same running/turn lights, and in the same spot, just mounted deeper in the recess.

It's been a long while since we have posted anything on Ray's car. Starting to put a little time in and over the last week or two we have gotten all the hydraulics in and working for the canopy.20250811_134510.jpg20250811_134522.jpg20250811_141101.jpg20250811_141626.jpg

Top open and close.

Well, I guess I don't know what I am doing with video. I will try again later.

Putting on some finishing touches while it's on my engine run stand. Hopefully get to run it this week or coming weekend.

Well this is my first attempt at an electric AC system in a car. I got all my lines made up and everything plumbed in. Then everything came
out and I am ready to paint the inside of the front compartment.

Very Cool

Once up and running I would be interested in seeing what the amperage draw is and what the high and low pressure output is.

Saw your using hose clamps on the lines. On my system (Standard setup) my high pressure line can exceed 200 psi.

The hose clamps actually come with the fittings and are supposed to be adequate. I have a crimper but opted to see how the clamps work. I can tell you that once the barb fitting go in the hose, there is no getting them back out.

Got the front compartment sprayed with a light coat of bedliner aerosol. Looks nice, smells terrible but covers nice. I can reassemble
the AC unit after 72 hrs dry time.

How durable is that spray bedliner? What brand is it?
Not sure how durable it would be in a truck bed but for this application it is great. It is more just for looks in the front compartment, adds a nice texture. Rustoleum Brand Pro Bed Liner Spray.

Have that in my truck beds. Works so good that I used it to seal the underside of the cars pan.

I wouldn't buy another truck without the bed sprayed with that stuff.
