I have never seen prices bounce around so much in my life.
I was going to do a write up on a bead roller I got that I converted to a tubing bead roller and I went back to the site that sells them (at the time the price was real good) and the price had gone up $30 since I got mine (less than a week). Then I needed to get some 1.75" mandrel bent aluminum tubing for the water lines that I'm fabricating and I found a site that had reasonable prices on them but when I got to check out they wanted over $50 for shipping. I found another site for the tubing and they wouldn't even give you a price on shipping. They said it changes from day to day.

I needed a stick of 1.75" aluminum tubing and less than a week ago I ordered 2 sticks for $65 each for a 8' stick. The same place now wants $88 for the same item.
I still haven't ordered the mandrel bends that I need to finish the water lines,

Well after doing some searching I found a place in Florida that has mandrel bends at a decent price and shipping is only $10.
So I ordered 8 of them. They also sell tubing but I think to keep shipping cost down they only sell it in 4' or smaller lengths.

I’m glad you found a decent option. Yeah, I have to wince at the price of some of the supplies. I’ve been using a lot of fiberglass epoxy and it literally is about $10 more every time I order it. Thank goodness for most of these things we only have to buy small “hobby” amounts.

The other product that really stood out this year was the windshield wiper mechanisms for our cars. Three years ago they were about $300. Then they bumped them a little to about $350. And then they bumped them to $900 and said to expect a lead time of like half a year. That’s just not acceptable.

I've changed my supplier of resin due to price and condition of the containers.

An interesting thing I found when ordering supplies is I can get the same items out of Florida cheaper and the shipping is less than ordering the same items out of California (which as you know is closer to me)
