I dont' know whether I should tell this or not...O.k.: The throttle cable was not attached, so I set out to re-attach it this morning, having built up the courage to pull out the pedals and re-do the brakes and clutch (hopefully, you see where I'm going...) Long after yanking the brake rod, droppig the clutch cable, and pulling the pedals, I flipped the flap of carpet to find the throttle cable...just sitting there...smiling at me!! What an idiot!
Oh well, I didn't have anything else to do this morning...
So, after pressure washing the pedals, I remember how bad looking they are. My clutch lever is bent to go to the left of the steering column anyway. I could cut it an inch and re-weld it, or put something cooler on. Any thoughts? There have to be better assemblies out there, like something supported and hinged from above. Rather than go shopping, I fugured I'd ask...
