new turn signals

as most of you know my car will be on the road pretty soon.
but that doesn't mean it is finished...

one of the things i have to change is the turn signals.
the ones on the car right now are regular tailer lights.
they look horrible and i think they are a slap in the face to the car.
but they will serve to get the car on the road for cheap.

i was just wondering what everyone else has for the turn signals.
like the green electric one i see pictures of. what are the turn signals on that.

I'll be using running lights from a VW Jetta and running lights from a BMW.

Yeah... just do a generic search on eBay for running lights. Most are going to be required to be frenched into the bodywork, but a couple of imports, like Nic's VW's and BMW's have surface mount repeaters, which make nice running lights.

Turn signals, look at aftermarket flush mount motorcycle indicators. I got some from Amazon that were 3 wire LEDs (run and turn) and they were DOT stamped. I think they were less than $20.
