Back when I was working on the upholstery for the Miata seats I was on a prowl for a good upholstery forum, like this. A place to discuss the specifics and miscellaneous art of upholstery. I found nothing, zip, nada. It's important for any community of enthusiasts, hobbiests and professionals to have a good forum for discussion and idea sharing. Again, just like this site.
So last week I took matters into my own hands and purchased Upholstery Forums - Index. With the very kind permission of Warren he's allowed me to put up this link to tell you all about the site. I will also be adding a link back to Euro-Nova to hopefully get more people interested in our cars as well.
As of now, it's completely empty. I haven't added any content to it yet other than a basic layout with various board topics. I am interested in everyone's feedback on the topics I have added and open to suggestions for more topics. The intention of the site is for Auto, Boat/Marine and Home Furniture upholsters to gather and discuss/share ideas, tips and tricks, video's etc.
If you know of anyone that is an enthusiast, hobbiest or professional upholsterer, I would consider it a HUGE favor if you let them know about the site.
