Just a quick note to say hi...now that Warren got me signed in. Have been following the Sterling since 1977 and now 40 years later I'm seriously considering actually getting my toy. Will likely have a few questions on occasion, but know I am a career Mechanic...so...they won't all be stupid. Anyways, great to be here. ;)

Welcome! Knowing you are a career mechanic, we won't expect dumb questions from you. But you can expect some dumb ones from us I bet.

Welcome to the site and hopefully you very own Sterling, soon. There are a few up for sale on eBay and Craigslist at the moment.

I'm a 55 year 'career mechanic' but I still ask dumb questions. *hmmm* because none of us knows everything. *thumbs up*

Welcome!

Looking forward to seeing what you find out there. Seen a few good deals in the not to distant past. Good time of the year to be a buyer. Good luck!

About 40 minutes from you. Have personally only seen one Sterling (or variant) in TX...ever. Looked at one years ago in Waco for sale with a Corvair 6-cyl. Definitely more project than I wanted at the time.

True, but relative to life's timing, facilities needed and money required, the Waco car was not feasible for me. Hell, we made a Son...who is almost finished with College now...since that viewing.
