Another Idea using the seats from a Corvette
Instead of making a new base that fits in the car, First modify the mounting bracket so that it will bolt to the sides and the floor of the dropped section of the pan (4" drop). I used 16 ga. steel for this.
The cushion for the seat base will lay flat on the floor. Attached with velcro or something like that so it wont move.
Only problem will be if you bottom out, anything that hits the seat base (dropped section) will be transferred to your butt.
I know you can use the C4 seat to do this but other models may have the same design and possibly could be used
