If the gas tank weren't directly in between the interior hole for the tunnel and the window, and I didn't have a 3yo that is totally into touching absolutely everything he knows he shouldn't, I would just leave it open, and mount it. But I have the glass its just the tunnel that would need replacement, doesn't seem too difficult, but not going to be with the original plastic. It would be easy to make your own but even easier I think would be to make 2 window panels(Lexan?) that fit the opening and get some window weather strip (seal) and install the panels that way.
Of course the section between the two would be open to view but I don't think that would be an issue unless you wouldn't like to do it that way.
Oooh! If OP isn't interested, I'll gladly take you up on that offer. I'd have you send it to a US address as I'm headed there in the fall.I have one. I just haven't had the heart to throw it away in case a day like this arrived! lol

You can have it for the cost of shipping (I'm in Minnesota). If you say you're interested (see pix attached), I'll get a price estimate from UPS...which at 31"x14"x10" (plus packaging) may not be cheap...but I'll toss in a Side Pocket for (also?) free! lol (and I think that would bring my "extra" OEM Sterling parts inventory to zero...)
That's a deal, I'm in Oak Harbor Washington let me know how much and I'll figure out a way to pay you. This is literally the only part that didn't survive the 15 year storage.I have one. I just haven't had the heart to throw it away in case a day like this arrived! lol
