For those who don't know
I have had my fourth heart attack a few weeks ago. I have been very ill for the last year.
I have been so busy trying to survive since my bypasses a couple of years ago that I have not been on the forum for a while.
This heart attack did damage this time I lost three of my five grafts I am now down to 2 arteries feeding my heart.
I may have to have the bypasses again at some point.
Also I struggling with whether to go om disability or try to remain working.
As for the car I have new floor pans in and a whole slew of other changes.\

thanks dale

Good to see ya back, Dale. Health definitely take precedence over toys. Sounds like your having a bit of a rough go of it. Be healthy and ease back into it.

It doesn't matter how important your work is, it will never be THAT important that it's worth dying for.

Take it easy, ease back in and 'tinker', it is a great relaxer when there is no pressure, I sometimes spend hours in the 'shed' achieving absolutely nothing, stress is the biggest killer today, loose it!

Money is the second;

Rebecca comes home to find her husband beside himself with worry and crying.
"What on earths the matter ?", she asks.
"It's Joseph next door", he said, "I owe him some money and I can find no way to pay him".
Rebecca said, "leave it to me" and went next door.
Two minuets later she came back and said, "I simply told Joseph you can not pay, now you let HIM do the worrying".*laugh*

Four heart attacks! Man, don't be so greedy. Spread it around a little!! lol But seriously, Peter has it right. Don't stress. If you're one of these types that always needs to be doing something, looking into something where you can claim part disability/pension and still work part time. I know it's possible here in Oz, hopefully there in the US of A as well.

Look after #1. That's you in case we need to point it out to you.

The car will still be waiting there for you.

Good Lord Dale! Stop it - you're not allowed to have any more issues. Peter's right - no job is worth your life (unless, of course, it's in the line of duty). But I'm gathering yours isn't a police, fire or EMT job..

Enough going on with folks' health here on the forum.. go de-stress somehow!

I'm just dealing with really bad genetics. Not necessarily stress.
At 48 I'm not mentally or financially prepared to step out life and coast/
If I could support my family and stay home I would definitely not work.

Forget all that crap! there comes a time when your family has to support YOU, we can't all be fit all the time, what if you have a FINAL heart attack, who is going to support your family then.

Genetic heart disorder is a bummer but it depends entirely on your local health care services as what can and will be done, sounds like you need a secondhand pump fitted, tried Ebay? *laugh* but seriously, you HAVE to change you lifestyle, bin conventional thinking and you might just make it.

I am lucky and reached my 70th year in fairly good health (more than my father did) but the chassis is shot to hell by sports in my youth and replacement joints are the order of the day now along with being overweight, T2 diabetics, high blood pressure border line depression and chronic gastritis, apart from that, I'm fine *thumbs up*
