How would I change a photo on my post?

Hi! The easiest way to add more photos is to go to your original post and just respond to it along with additional photos. People will see that they are together as an ad. Hope this helps.

To my knowledge the window to edit a post ends when you log out.

Once you log back in the option to edit that specific post is gone.

I think thats how it works.

So your options I guess would be, add to your original post or start a new one.

If thats the case, the edit button is hard to see but its in the bottom left corner of the post
Visible after you post reply.
It darkens when the curser is over it

I think what I did was to use the back space key to delete parts or all of the post including the pictures.
Next time I post something with a picture I'll try that to see if it works in the edit feature.

Hi guys. The forum software has settings regarding the length of time a a poster may edit their post. It can be set anywhere from “never allow edits” to allowing edits for an infinite amount of time. I think it is set to like a hour or so. This lets a person read over their post for typos and other edits.

Years ago it was set to “infinite” edit time and we had a situation where someone was arguing with another person and wanted to retaliate by deleting a ton of otherwise really good material. Hundreds of posts. In the spirit of protecting the knowledge base for these cars, I set it to a reasonable edit time thinking that a person could always amend their thoughts by adding posts/updates if they needed to. I haven’t touched that setting in many years but I think it’s set to an hour. I don’t think it was a day. If there was a unique situation where something in a post absolutely had to be changed we would happily try to work with the person.
