how big is your radiator

im just trying to figure out how big my radiator needs to be to put a/c in my car.

i have a 61 bug motor with no mods so i dont think it will be big

You're thinking condensor, not radiator, though they serve basically the same function. Any aftermarket company like I.C.E. that sells complete kits for the Bug motors will already have a sized condensor for the kit. If you're going to patch one together from junkyard parts, I think any unit from a small car like a Cooper, Smart, or something like that would be more than adequate. Too large a unit and the A/C won't cool as effectively, so buy wisely.

Just for a note.
I have my Subaru radiator out while Im replacing the head gaskets. I can provide the stock EJ22 rad dimensions if anyone is needing that info.

What he said. Any if your still looking for radiators, jcwhitney is a good source. I'm pretty sure they can help you with the right size of your rad. Good luck!
