I am changing the fuel tank in my vw sterling. Mine is rusted. its also the donor tank. the builder smashed a dent in the tank so the starter would fit. is there a way to get around bashing my tank? how are your tanks mounted? or custom tank? thank you.

i do know that on one episode,he did use the chassis and part of the top off that sterling but as far as the body. he scrapped it.

hey man. i saw that episode and facebook messaged Ian. he texted me back and said it was all gone. i wanted the windshield. I am exited he reached out to me. he is a great fabricator and built some wild vw's.
