That rear is awesome! Wasn't sure about LEDs but that look really cool when done! So question, when heads lights are on, those leds are dimmable?

Do you have pictures? I don't think I've seen it...

@letterman7 Thanks for responding Not gonna kid myself, this will be a challenge. I don't have the expertise nor the equipment to pull it all together. I'd prefer something that has an engine, possibly even drove at some point as a starting point. So, I can do interior, wiring, here and there...

@Brett Proctor That's really cool! So the power lift works in conjunction with the existing gas struts. Assuming that's because the weight of the canopy is much heavier? I'd like to see where you installed the actuator. What actuator rod did you use?

Has anyone ever experimented with power lift gate technology?

Learn something new each time. For some reason I thought the canopy can "self open" without power if it wasn't electric. Maintenance is important I agree. So is plan B, C, and D :)

Thanks for the info. I was mostly concerned about the windshield cracking. Cause that's something that always happens to every car I've owned. Since a Sterling windshield isn't very standard just wondering if insurance company give any trouble or worse "total" the car. But like the advice...

@Magura what's your backup solution? If battery dies last thing I want is to be is stuck lol

Opening and closing the canopy, there's no other door handles.

There's a Sebring body for sale in Amboy NJ for $1K+ saw the ad in Facebook.

So if true that the fibreglass is thicker on a sebring?
