  1. Orange body - All panels and most of the glass for sale

Hi gang, I'm selling the Orange parts body I bought several years ago. Body is in good condition, has all the body panels and tail light panel, dash, rear tunnel and louvers! Side glass and rear tunnel glass still bonded to tunnel. What you will need is the windshield. It has one in there now...
  2. Sterling #416 -- Nic's custom build

Yeah, those are 3d printed. Looking at them lately, they seem 'bulky' and might try to redesign them in a thinner format.

As I said on the Euro forum, looks like I'm about a once-a-year poster now. I took the winter off of working on the car at all, but about 2 months ago decided to try to do something about the seats. I used the seat mold I pulled as the buck this time. There was a lot of clean up to do, lots of...

I'm just a few hours from you, in Concord.
  5. My first question for the site

I could be wrong, but those are fairly stock suspensions, front and rear.

Hi Russ - Thanks for sharing your car. It's amazing that after all these years we, the community, are still finding fascinating examples. Out of curiosity, where are you in the world?
  7. Zenny's Sterling (GP39)

Professional is, as Professional does. (y)
  8. Zenny's Sterling (GP39)

 I did similar, clamped it to the bench, used 1.5" angle iron, heated up the bend line with an oxy torch and smacked it into submission with a hammer.

Thanks, Pog. The seat came out of the mold without a lot of effort, I'm really just thinking about a better quality finish on the part of the seat I'll be sitting on. I don't think the seat will be fully upholstered so parts of the 'raw' seat will be visible. Here are the hood vents, or one...
  10. Sterling #416 -- Nic's custom build

So I pulled the seat a few weeks ago and the mold took a hit and the gelcoat on the seat wasn't great. So....slow going on the seats. I have the gelcoat gun and paper cups. I cleaned up the back of the seat I pulled and filled in most of the voids. I think this is my plan. I'm going to use...

Thanks. Finally got some pictures of the first 2 layers of CSM uploaded. These were prior to the WR going down. Hopefully I can get more down tonight over the WR and move on from that disaster.
  14. Sterling #416 -- Nic's custom build

Tuesday night I was able to put down the first layer of gel coat and Thursday the 2nd layer. Friday night the first 2 layers of CSM were applied. Saturday was the first layer of woven roving. Looking back, that was a mistake that I wont make on the 2nd seat. The ends of the WR didn't lay flat...
  15. New Nova owner (UK)

There is no "usual" place unfortunately. You're probably going to have to crawl under the dash to locate something. Now it is possible they had it hooked up to a wireless remote and so there were no switches per se, just the remote. If you can't find any loose wires in the boot and nothing under...
  16. New Nova owner (UK)

Hi There! Welcome. I HIGHLY recommend you join the Euro-Nova site as well. They'll be able to help with sourcing local bits - http://www.euro-nova.co.uk Windscreens are bespoke and $$$. I'm not sure what they are in UK but in the states they're about $1500 if I recall. There are some build...
  17. Honeycomb grill - ABS

I'll save everyone else the google search or head scratching XD caveat emptor NOUN the principle that the buyer alone is responsible for checking the quality and suitability of goods before a purchase is made: "caveat emptor still applies when you are buying your house"

  19. Sterling #416 -- Nic's custom build

Coat of epoxy applied. Even has some free embedded bug carcass' After this I applied a healthy wax coating and a couple coats of PVA. I bought neutral gelcoat but have tinted it black. MAYBE tomorrow I can get the gelcoat on and a few layers of fiberglass down before it gets too dark.
  20. Sterling #130 (aka American V8 ~ Chapter 2)

I'm not sure if they'd be any quieter, but motor cycle muffler/tail pipes.
