  6. More questions

I can't seem to find it, but somewhere recent Farfegnubbin gave a speach on the topic. Maybe your search-fu is better than mine.
  7. More questions

One of the usual suspects here, knows by heart, what you need to make it hydraulic. I can't recall what he usually suggests, but it's something from an American convertible.
  8. More questions

I can't imagine mine without hydraulics. That roof is brutally heavy. No amount of adjusting, will make it fun to operate with just gas springs.
  9. Headroom? Is it too late?

Well, the Sebring is taller than the Sterling Nova, isn't it? ;)
  10. Headroom? Is it too late?

I'm 6'2" and have no issues with headroom, so it's sure possible to sort out. First as others already mentioned, make sure your floor pans are dropped 3-4", use fiberglass seats of the modern variety without a whole lot of padding, make sure the seat is laid back, skip the seat back/forth...

  16. Sterling #130 (aka American V8 ~ Chapter 2)

That's an incredible amount of work! Looks like you're doing well though.
  17. Buying a Sterling

No way! They're way too much fun
  18. Indent in the roof?

I'd be curious to see a few pics of your setup as well. It sure sounds pretty high tech!
  19. 1977 Sterling Kitcar

Yeah, clearly a shill bidder. Well, he gets to keep it. What's not to like? 🤣
  20. Indent in the roof?

It was written "tongue in cheek". ;) Having said that, I'm surprised that they're that sturdy.
