Just curious of what this all means.
With the new web layout stats are posted for members.

Messages is a no brainier but why does it matter how many messages a member has had and list it??

Reaction score. I have no idea what this is.

Points. Another item I have no idea what this means.

Not looking to start any trouble, just curious what it all means and why keep track of it.

Thanks
Brett

100% of what you’re noticing is just random crap that came with the forum software. “Reactions” is in reference to when someone just “likes” or gives a “thumbs up” to a post (rather than writing a response.) Points are…. …yeah, no friggin clue. 😄 They’re those things under your distributor cap that get wonky over time.

All of those stats are used for nothing and are just there because they were automatic and it would have been harder to hide them than to let them exist.

That said the person with the most points gets an official “attaboy!!” from the High Counsel of Sterling Matters. 😁

Unless points are a bad thing.

Then the person who has the most points is totally screwed.

They will receive three demerits.

I remember what those are!!

I still have a Penske Engine Analyzer that hasn't seen the light of day for over 30 years.
It tests Alternator, Regulator, Dwell angle, Point resistance, and more. Also have a timing light that hasn't been used for over 30 years also.

When I kick the bucket the kids will have no clue what that stuff is for. (there has already been talks of who gets my tools when I'm dead and gone) Spoiled ungrateful brats.
